About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account Cum HR Assistant to join the team at Darwine Groups Sdn Bhd, based in Butterworth, Penang. This full-time position is an integral part of our accounting and human resources functions, playing a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company.
What you’ll be doing
- Handling a wide range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Providing administrative support to the HR department, such as managing employee records, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, and assisting with HR-related inquiries
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate information flow
- Maintaining and updating various accounting and HR-related databases and systems
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
What we’re looking for
- Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a small to medium-sized organisation
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Adaptable and able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines
