About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UiPath Developer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role will be responsible for developing new automations while also taking ownership of existing solutions built by a third-party vendor. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience working in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable UiPath automation solutions in production
· Translate business requirements into robust, reusable RPA workflows
· Refactor and optimise existing automations for performance, scalability, and reliability
· Run automation processes, monitor automation performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and resolve production issues
· Implement best practices for exception handling, logging, reusability, and maintainability
· Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator, including queues, assets, triggers, packages, and environments
· Support and enhance existing and vendor‑built automations, ensuring stability and knowledge transfer
· Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams on system integrations
· Support testing activities including UAT and production deployment
· Ensure automations comply with enterprise governance, security, and development standards
· Contribute to documentation, design standards, and knowledge sharing within the RPA program
· Mentor other developers and promote RPA engineering best practices
Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of RPA development experience with strong UiPath expertise
· Experience delivering attended, unattended, and hybrid automations
· Proven delivery of enterprise‑scale automation solutions
· Deep understanding of UiPath Studio and REFramework
· Hands‑on experience with UiPath Orchestrator (deployment, monitoring, scheduling)
· Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments
· Experience supporting and transitioning vendor‑built automations
· Strong knowledge of exception handling, logging, and RPA best practices
· Working knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL, or scripting languages for advanced automation scenarios
· UiPath Automation Developer Professional certification
· Experience using version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD practices for RPA deployments
Nice to Have
· UiPath certifications such as Automation Solution Architect Professional or Specialised AI Professional
· Experience working within an RPA Centre of Excellence or enterprise automation program
· Experience with UiPath Document Understanding and AI Center
· Experience automating mainframe or legacy systems
· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
· Knowledge of process mining or task mining tools
