Specialist, Performance & Rewards

Job Summary:

Supports Performance & Reward functions by coordinating appraisals, salary reviews, job evaluation, HR systems, and projects. Analyses data, maintains dashboards, ensures compliance and confidentiality, and provides reporting insights to drive performance alignment and informed decision-making.

Job Description:

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the execution of performance management frameworks to align individual performance with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end performance appraisal process, ensuring timely delivery, consistency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to managers and employees on performance management tools, systems, and processes.
  • Maintain and manage appraisal documentation and generate comprehensive performance reports to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze performance data to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.

Reward Management:

  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of reward programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentive schemes.
  • Assist in market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure the organization remains competitive within the market.
  • Participate in annual salary review processes and compensation projects
  • Support the preparation of reward-related reports, analysis, and budget planning to aid decision-making.

HR Projects:

  • Provide support for HR projects, including strategic initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Prepare project updates, reports, and assist in identifying and addressing potential risks or roadblocks.

Job Analysis & Evaluation:

  • Coordinate periodic job analysis and evaluation processes, including the organization and maintenance of accurate job descriptions.
  • Support the review and classification of job roles based on established frameworks and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to facilitate job evaluations and resolve queries related to job roles.

Others:

  • Maintain and manage Performance & Rewards module to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and alignment with organisational requirements.
  • Maintain and update HR dashboard for reporting purpose across the company
  • Plans and supports system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and provides user support across the company.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports and data to inform decision-making and support operational efficiency.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive compensation data
  • Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by Management to support HR and business objectives

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resource Management
  • Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience.
  • Preferably Executive specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills in English, Malay language for both spoken and written
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret data and numbers.
  • Intermediate Excel / Google Sheet is required. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; BI tools are a plus.
