About the role
Healthcon Sdn Bhd is expanding our portfolio of innovative minimally invasive technologies — including Microwave Ablation (MWA), Cryoablation, and High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU).
We are seeking a dynamic Medical Business Development & Clinical Sonographer who can excel in both sales/business development and clinical sonography support, including ultrasound-guided procedures and device demonstrations.
In this hybrid role, you will support clinicians in real cases, drive product adoption, and grow Healthcon’s presence across Central & East Malaysia.
What you’ll be doing
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, medical centres, and specialist clinics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians (radiology, O&G, surgery, endocrinology, oncology, GP).
- Conduct impactful presentations, CME workshops, and product demonstrations for MWA, Cryoablation, and HIFU platforms.
- Negotiate and manage all stages of the sales process, including proposals, pricing, contracts, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with marketing and KOL teams to execute engagement strategies and clinical adoption plans.
Clinical & Sonography Support
- Perform qualitative/basic ultrasound scanning (thyroid, breast, abdomen — based on skill level) for demos and clinical support.
- Provide hands-on support during procedures involving MWA, Cryoablation, and HIFU, including equipment setup and workflow guidance.
- Train clinicians, nurses, and technicians on device operation, ultrasound positioning, and procedural workflow.
- Ensure high-quality technical support during workshops, wet labs, live cases, and clinical implementations.
- Assist with post-sales support, troubleshooting, and gathering clinical feedback.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Prepare daily reports covering sales pipeline, clinical activities, and customer engagement.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities (including MWA, Cryo, HIFU technologies), and emerging market opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- Min 1–3 years experience in medical sales, business development, or clinical support roles.
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging, Sonography, Radiography,
- Basic to intermediate ultrasound scanning experience required; advanced sonography experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to travel frequently, work independently, and manage fast-moving and complex healthcare environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies (MWA, Cryo, HIFU).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin
