Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished parts and components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other metrology equipment to verify dimensional accuracy
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications
- Accept or reject parts based on established quality criteria and tolerances
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
- Communicate inspection findings to production and engineering teams
- Ensure all inspected parts meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Maintain and handle measuring instruments with care to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer skills for reporting and data entry
- Experience working in a precision engineering environment is an advantage
