Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

·         Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate.

·         Conduct joint measurements to verify work completed by contractors and sub-contractors.

·         Assist the Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.

·         Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.

·         Implement cost control procedures.

·         Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.

·         Check quantity and advise purchaser on materials to be ordered.

·         To participate in tendering for new projects.

·         Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.

·         Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.

·         Review and analyse cost studies and budget.

·         Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.

·         Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.

·         Oversees all incoming and outgoing project documentation and liaise with internal/external stakeholders

·         Conduct project progress/budget and manage relationships with client

·         Initiate, implement and monitor adherence to internal control system

·         Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

·         Ad-hoc assigned by management.

Requirements 

·         Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

·         Preferably Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

·         At least 1 year of working experience in the related field for Executive level, and 3 to 5 years for Senior Executive level. 

·         Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin will be an additional advantage.
