MAIN JOB FUNCTION
• Responsible for implementing HSE activities and supporting industrial hygiene works activities i.e. sampling and monitoring for clients. This dual role requires hands-on technical skills for IH fieldwork and solid HSE knowledge to ensure compliance at the workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
HSE
1.Focal for preparing HSE compliance requirement based on clients’ requirements.
2.Preparation of HSE Plan, HSE Close Out Report, JHA, HIRARC, manpower readiness and any other related documents prior to job execution.
3.Responsible to oversee HSE performance or any HSE related activity at site (i.e; communication with client’s PIC, conduct toolbox talk, incident investigation, ensuring workers make use of necessary PPE, waste management, etc.).
4.Assist and cooperate with Operation Department and / or any other department on HSE related matters.
5.Train workers on HSE requirements and expectations, ensuring workers understanding on company as well as clients’ HSE policies and procedures.
6.Maintain and update HSE monitoring log (i.e., HSE Performance Data).
7.Carry out workplace inspection and reports the findings to the client (for project) and HSE Coordinator (office).
8.Assisting in ensuring / updating validity of onshore and offshore related competencies.
9.Assist in Legal checklist and compliance.
10.To prepare or assist in the preparations or documenting ISO 45001 and ISO 9001. Involves and assists in internal and external audit, as well as Management Review Meeting.
11.Assisting in assuring compliance with all Health, Safety and Environment statutory regulations and requirements.
12.To do inspection on HSE matters relating to the delivery of products.
13.To establish good contact and rapport with client’s HSE officers, representatives and among P3SS staff.
14.Any other HSE related duties instructed by HSE Coordinator / Director.
IH
1.Responsible for supporting industrial hygiene works as and when required (Chemical Exposure Monitoring, Chemical Health Risk Assessment, Noise Risk Assessment, LEV Inspection, etc.)
2.Perform on-site IH monitoring (e.g., air sampling, noise, heat stress, lighting, etc.).
3.Calibrate, operate, and maintain IH equipment.
4.Accurately record field data and ensure proper chain-of-custody for samples.
5.Coordinate with laboratories for sample analysis.
6.Report preparation and presentation.
7.Work together with IH Executive in project enquiry, execution and report preparation
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
1.Attended Site Safety Supervisor Course / a yellow book holder is an added advantage.
2.Attended any IH course and passed the examination, holding DOSH certified IH certificate.
3.Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English Language in reading, writing, and speaking.
4.Relevant Academic Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Health, Safety and Environment/ Industrial Hygiene or any discipline that involves Health, Safety and Environment.
5.Familiar with basic HSE regulations (OSHA, EQA) and IH equipment.
6.Having knowledge and experience in oil & gas industry is an added advantage.
7.Must be willing to travel to client sites and work in industrial environments.
