Purchasing Executive

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Procurement Operations

  • Responsible for the procurement of molds, packaging materials, hardware, plastic raw materials, stationery, auxiliary materials, consumables, etc. Create purchase and return documents upon material receipt, and perform month-end reconciliation.
  • Understand all material specifications and relevant standards, and ensure control over purchase order requirements and delivery deadlines.
  • Be familiar with the market prices and sources of responsible materials to reduce procurement costs.

 2. Supplier Management

  • Follow the principles of appropriate pricing, timing, and quantity; coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to evaluate and assess suppliers. Update the Approved Supplier List in a timely manner.
  • Actively track and follow up on supplier quality improvement efforts, and promptly communicate supplier feedback to the Quality Control Department.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to confirm sample evaluation results and return them to suppliers within the same day.

3. Production & Material Coordination

  • Work with PMC to ensure raw materials are procured in time to support smooth production. Provide daily reports on material delivery issues.
  • Closely monitor key materials and promptly resolve any material exceptions.

4. Internal Process Supervision

  • Supervise and support order follow-up staff in their daily tasks, and ensure daily task completion.
  • Assist the Finance Department with account reconciliation tasks.

5. Reporting & Leadership Support

  • Report to the Purchasing Supervisor regularly or as needed. Follow work arrangements and complete other temporary tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma in any field.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement management, with experience in procuring raw materials and components for plastic molds.
  • Proficient in using office software, ERP systems, and SAP systems.
  • Ability to oversee the entire supply chain and identify better supply chain solutions.
  • Skilled in procurement techniques with strong market analysis and judgment capabilities.
  • Demonstrates good professional ethics, strong team collaboration, and loyalty to the company.
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking counterpart.
