Get to know the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Product Manager – Supply Chain and DC Operations to drive innovation and efficiency across our supply chain, distribution centers (DCs), and logistics operations. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing products, tools, and systems that enhance operational efficiency, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, Vendors, procurement, and analytics, to ensure seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for supply chain and DC operations.
- Align product development with business goals, operational efficiencies, and customer needs.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify opportunities.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of supply chain solutions, including warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory optimization tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless system integrations and performance enhancements.
- Define and track key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with supply chain, operations, procurement, and finance teams to align product solutions with business requirements.
- Coordinate with external vendors and technology providers to enhance system capabilities.
- Identify pain points in current supply chain processes and drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Optimize inventory flow, reduce lead times, and enhance distribution network efficiency.
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- product management experience, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and supply chain optimization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
