Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our Malaysia team in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary technical skills and expertise to ensure the flawless commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects.
Role & Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the testing and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with design specifications
• Coordinate the mechanical commissioning processes including plumbing and other mechanical systems
• Conduct robust testing of electrical systems, including power distribution and fire alarms, to validate their performance and safety standards
• Perform energy efficiency testing to certify the efficient operation of building systems
• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that all systems operate optimally and safely
• Collaborate with data center teams to verify the integration and operational success of MEP systems
• Prepare and present detailed reports on testing and commissioning results to project stakeholders
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards
Qualifications And Skills
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience in MEP testing and commissioning relevant to the construction industry. More experienced candidates would be considered as Mech/Elec Lead or PM
• Proficiency in HVAC Commissioning
• Proficiency in Mechanical Commissioning
• Experience in Electrical Testing including understanding of power distribution, lighting systems, and grounding
• Experience in Fire Alarm Testing ensuring compliance with relevant national and international codes and standards
• Knowledge in Energy Efficiency Testing to validate the effective use of energy in building systems
• Expertise in Quality Assurance protocols to maintain high standards of system performance and safety
• Familiarity with data centers infrastructure and ensuring the proper integration of MEP systems
• Fluency in English.
