Site Manager

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • To prepare, implement and update the construction planning schedule.
  • Monitoring and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Liaising with the client’s representatives pertaining to site matters.
  • Ensuring adequate staff at job site.
  • To Liaise and monitor work progress of sub-contractors.
  • Liaising between the project engineers and surveyors.
  • To implement quality control on work package installation activities.
  • To liaise with Post Contract Department for verification of sub-contractors progress claim.
  • To liaise with Post Contract Department to evaluate sub-contractors work performance.
  • To liaise with Procurement Department to evaluate supplier performance.
  • To prepare Request for Inspection to consultant for inspection on installation activities.
  • To review method statements or work instructions before submission to consultant.
  • To liaise with safety officer for monitoring site safety measures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, Primavera.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage).
  • Willing to work at Cameron Highlands.
