Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)

Job Summary 

Job responsibilities are to enhance executive’s effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others as well and assist the of Regulatory Compliance and Quality Monitoring and Assignment officers. The Regulatory Compliance Section (RCS) job scope to ensure all activities related to enforcement, compliance and regulatory functions of MCMC as per the provision of CMA 1998, PSA 2012, DSA 1997 and STA 2010 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”).
To be able to use and operate the spectrum monitoring tools such as the NASMOC, drive test tool and other portable monitoring equipment’s.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to complaint officer in managing, recording, updating, complaints received (either
    from the public or complaint channels) on commission of offences under the Law.
  • To ensure complaints system is updated within timeline stipulated.
  • Plan, identify and provide assistance to enforcement officer in conducting activities and exercises such as,
    preparing statement recordings, audits, raiding, surveillance, and other activities related.
  • To ensure all reports and related administrative works after enforcement activities to be recorded and updated.
  • To work additional hours or vary working times to suit the needs of the service.
  • Plan, identify and provide assistance to compliance officer in conducting activities and exercises such as audits and other activities related.

  • Work closely to support the function of HQ/SMIRD/ SECBD/ QOSD/RSAD/SDD on spectrum /QoS monitoring.
  • Assist the officer to plan and coordinate the routes for drive test team to conduct measurement of network quality for cellular coverage
  • To ensure safe keeping of all documents and assets accordance to 5S method.
  • Prepare status updates and achievement for all initiatives.
  • Compiled and maintain all related record in database.
  • Assist to participate/attend/support all cross functional assigned within numerous section/branch.
  • Assist to participate/attend/support all programmes/events organized by other section within state office / HQ or other external parties.
  • Official photographer and editor.
  • To undertake any ad-hoc task and assignment from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in relevant field with CGPA of 3.0 and above with minimum CGPA of 3.00
  • Experience in regulatory bodies will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications networks and applications.

Technical Competencies/Skills

  1. Ability to write and communicate well in BM and English.
  2. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint. 
  3. Must be able to understand acts and regulations.
  4. Good understanding on overall telecommunications will be an added advantages. 
  5. Good knowledge in industries under purview of MCMC.

  1. Ability to work independent and less supervision.
  2. Able to work as part of a team to deliver in tight timeframes and respond quickly in an ever-changing environment.
  3. Must be organized, goal oriented and a self-starter. Superior project management skills- able to keep projects on track and drive projects across department boundaries.
  4. Detail oriented and diligent in delivery – Professional presence and with ability to work under pressure.

Candidate must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
