Business Administration Executive – PERAI
Job Summary:
The Business Administration Executive will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks and operational processes of the convenience store business. This role will involve coordinating various business activities, implementing effective systems, and supporting the overall growth and profitability of the store.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
– Manage daily administrative tasks, including record-keeping, correspondence, and filing.
– Keep track of inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
– Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and other financial transactions.
– Prepare reports and presentations as required by management.
2. Operational Processes:
– Oversee store operations to ensure smooth functioning and efficiency.
– Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various tasks.
– Monitor and streamline processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
– Coordinate with staff to ensure proper training, scheduling, and adherence to policies.
3. Financial Management:
– Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to optimize financial performance.
– Monitor and analyze financial data and report on variances or trends.
– Identify areas for cost savings and propose strategies for improvement.
– Support the process of invoicing, billing, and collection of payments.
4. Customer Service and Sales:
– Provide exemplary customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
– Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing sales.
– Assist with merchandising efforts, ensuring proper product display and stock rotation.
– Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
5. Communication and Coordination:
– Facilitate effective communication between different departments and stakeholders.
– Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
– Coordinate and attend meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items.
– Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
– Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or convenience store industry.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
– Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
