Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy.
- Professional Accounting qualification – CIMA/ACCA/MIA will be added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years working experience with strong SAP/ERP experience in manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge in SAP/ERP system.
- Computer literate and excellent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command in English – both writing and conversation.
- Meticulous attention to details and high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Main Duties:
- Fully responsible for ensuring that daily operation of the Finance Department for manufacturing plant run smoothly and efficient.
- Prepare and responsible for manufacturing account, product costing, submission is accurate and on time.
- Responsible for SAP changes/ERP requirement related to manufacturing changes of process or revision.
- Perform the performance evaluation of the subordinates and to identify gaps in term of skills and knowledge for staff development.
- Manage cash or fund requirements for plant operations.
- Coordinate and prepare annual budget and mid-year revision for plant operations, which involve various departments.
- Provide analysis on variable and fixed cost by plant and product to various parties.
- Liaise with TNB on tariff revision, billing issue, BG renewal and other administrative matters.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of accounting records and manage records are kept in compliance to statutory requirement and guidelines.
- Prepare SOP revision.
- Control and monitor CAPEX spending and fixed asset register to ensure updates and compliance as per guidelines.
- Provide information and support for external request – Statistic Department, CICM, MIDA, Customs, IRB and etc.
- To perform work in accordance to the company SHE standard and with Corporate Social Responsibilities.
- Protects the company’s confidentiality information.
- Key player in plant initiatives program and projects.
- Ad hoc assignment from Head of Finance.
