Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated Buyer to join the Site Procurement Team. As a Buyer, you will have the opportunity to be included and grow within a newly established Team/Department with the primary objective of enabling this Site to perform within the Procurement Procedures while meeting the needs of new employees to onsemi.
Responsibilities
- Learn and implement best in class Procurement policies and procedures in a facility that is new to onsemi.
- Collaboratively meet, advise, train and coach the site Employees as needed to enable the understanding of the onsemi Procurement process.
- With a strong attention to onsemi profit margin, identify and/or participate in cost reduction efforts.
- To ensure Individual KPIs are met or exceeded the target by close monitoring, analyse and idea of improvement.
- Monitor master data integrity.
- Accurate and on time reporting.
- Able to train up buyers excellent on all company system application.
- Ensure all the purchase activities is carried up with compliance with company policies and requirement.
- Optimization of Excellent procedure, platform, digitalization in plant purchasing day to day working.
- Other Job assignment from superior.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree/ Master in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Engineering field from recognized institution or any equivalent field
- At least more than 5 years of experience in relevant position, eg. Purchasing/ Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Project Management, preferably in Semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of MRP ; Experience with SAP.
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Teamwork player, open mind, fast learning and good communication
- Fluent communication and articulation skills in business level English, strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate and interact with internally and supplier’s management highly required
