This is a dynamic and pivotal role responsible for creating and delivering a vibrant and engaging calendar of events and programmes that enhances the member experience, drives revenue, and builds a strong sense of community. As the Culture Lead, this individual will be instrumental in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and active environment that defines The Club by M.
Key Responsibilities
- Event & Programme Management: Plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute a diverse range of events, from sports tournaments and coaching clinics to social gatherings and community initiatives.
- Culture & Community Building: Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a strong club culture and a palpable sense of community among members. Act as a champion for the club’s values.
- Commercial Acumen: Identify and develop opportunities to commercialise the events programme, driving secondary revenue streams for The Club.
- Member Engagement: Actively engage with members to understand their interests and preferences, using this feedback to continuously improve the events and programmes on offer.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including coaches, instructors, suppliers, and community partners, to ensure the successful delivery of all events and programmes.
Specification
- Experience: A proven track record in event management, preferably within a sports, leisure, or hospitality environment. Experience in community engagement or a similar culture-focused role is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Creative and innovative, with exceptional organisational and project management skills. An outgoing and personable nature, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
- Qualifications: A degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
- Expected Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, preferably within a sports, leisure, or hospitality environment. This is a mid-to-high level role requiring a proven ability to manage the entire event lifecycle, from concept to execution and evaluation.
