Production Supervisor (Production Lead)

Roles and Responsibilities

Production Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in accordance with the approved MPS to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Allocate manpower, machines, and resources effectively based on MPS requirements and production priorities.
  • Monitor production progress against plan and address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and delays.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, safety requirements and any other task assigned.

MPS & ERP-Driven Operations

  • Execute daily production strictly according to the MPS and released work orders.
  • Ensure all production activities are accurately planned, executed, and recorded in the ERP system.
  • Enforce discipline in ERP usage, including work order execution, material issuance, production reporting, and job completion.
  • Work closely with Planning, Inventory, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment between MPS, material availability, and shopfloor execution.
  • Identify gaps between MPS, physical production, and ERP records, and take corrective action in a timely manner.

People Management

  • Supervise, train, and motivate production operators and team leaders.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline on the shopfloor.
  • Provide guidance, performance feedback, and on-the-job coaching to improve execution and compliance.
  • Bilingual proficiency (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with shopfloor workers and management.
  • Escalate recurring production or system issues with practical, data-backed recommendations.

Quality & Compliance

  • Assist implementation on RBA/QMS documentation; ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications before release.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC on inspections, non-conformance handling, and corrective actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement in production efficiency, consistency, and quality performance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow efficiency, and cost control.
  • Support process improvements, lean initiatives, and MPS/ERP process enhancements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience using ERP systems in a production environment (mandatory).
  • Practical understanding of MPS-based production planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of production workflows, material control, and shopfloor operations.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
