About the Role
The Cleaning Supervisor supports daily housekeeping operations by coordinating staff, ensuring cleanliness standards, and maintaining a safe, tidy environment. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with basic supervisory experience who works closely with the cleaning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide cleaning staff during daily operations.
- Assign tasks and monitor work quality.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Report maintenance issues and support basic facility upkeep.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and minimise wastage.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in cleaning or housekeeping
- Previous team leader or senior cleaner experience preferred
- Basic supervisory and communication skills
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Responsible, reliable, and hands-on attitude
