Purpose of the Role
To safeguard the integrity, reliability, and compliance of LFG’s fleet and assets by implementing a robust Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS). This role ensures operational continuity, minimizes risk, and upholds international marine safety standards across all vessels and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Marine Asset Integrity Management
- Develop and maintain LFG’s Asset Integrity Policy for ships, hull structures, propulsion systems, and critical marine equipment.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for vessels and offshore assets.
- Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and Class Society requirements for asset integrity.
- Inspection & Monitoring
- Oversee hull inspections, dry-docking schedules, and condition monitoring programs.
- Manage Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) for cargo systems, ballast tanks, and pressure vessels onboard.
- Utilize integrity software tools and digital dashboards for fleet-wide monitoring.
- Compliance & Standards
- Maintain documentation for audits by Flag State, Port State, and Classification Societies.
- Align asset integrity practices with ISO 55000 and OCIMF guidelines for marine operations.
- Risk Management
- Lead root cause analysis for structural failures, corrosion issues, and machinery breakdowns.
- Develop mitigation plans and update Written Schemes of Examination for marine assets.
- Leadership & Coordination
- Collaborate with Marine Superintendents, Technical Managers, and Ship Captains to optimize asset performance.
- Provide training and technical guidance on integrity management for onboard and shore-based teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications:
- Certified Asset Integrity Management Professional (AIMP), Class-approved Hull Surveyor, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 8–12 years in marine asset integrity, fleet maintenance, or technical management roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in hull integrity, corrosion management, and marine inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with marine safety regulations and digital fleet management systems.

- Excellent communication and reporting abilities for cross-functional coordination.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on technical expertise in marine operations.
