Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, supervise, and manage all injection molding production activities to achieve quality, quantity, and delivery targets.
- Ensure injection molding machines, molds, and equipment are well maintained to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement production strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Supervise and train team members (supervisors, technicians & operators) to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance and support to achieve KPIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with maintenance, quality, and R&D teams.
- Oversee product quality control, ensuring compliance with ISO, GMP, 5S, and other quality standards.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly production reports to management.
- Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement, process enhancement, and automation initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required by management.
Job Requirements – Production Injection Manager
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Polymer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in injection molding, including at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, process control, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement tools (ISO, 5S, Lean, Kaizen, OEE).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve production KPIs.
- Willing to work in a 24/7 manufacturing/shift-based environment.
