1. General 
2. ·         Take full responsibility for the performance of Division
3. ·         Lead the Division to work independently for all types and sizes of projects comprising gravity sewer system, Sewerage Lifting Pumping Station, Water Pumping Station, Drainage Pumping System, and all infrastructure related works
4. ·         Lead a team in undertaking multi-disciplinary project involving several divisions
5. ·         Lead the Division to perform all necessary duties from the preliminary/ detail l design stage until project completion
6. 2.     Design and Drawing Preparation
7. The General Manager of a division shall lead the Division to carry out the following:
8. ·         Prepare feasibility study, design brief, schematic design an infra related projects
9. ·         Prepare sketch drawings with sufficient details to enable draftsperson to produce satisfactory detailed drawings as required for tender, construction or other purposes.
10. ·         Undertaking design and preparation of documents, specifications, bill of quantities and schedules
11. ·         Review design calculations in accordance with all relevant codes and standards
12. 3.     Tender Document and Tender Evaluation
13.  General Manager of a division shall lead the Division to carry out the following: 
14. ·         Prepare Tender Document comprising  drawings, specifications, bill of quantities and schedules etc
15. ·         Prepare Tender Evaluation Report with recommendation to Client on acceptance of tender
16. 4.     Contract Administration
17.  General Manager of a division shall lead the Division to carry out the following: 
18. ·         Assist Client in the selection of appropriate method of contract procurement
19. ·         Contract administration including review and comment on the contractor’s submission of method statements, materials, equipment, inspection, testing procedures and test results.
20. Prepare Progress Payment Certificates
21. Address Variations, extension of time and resolve contractual disputes
22. 5.     Business Development
23. ·         Build and maintain good relationship with Client
24. ·         Prepare consultancy Expression of Interest and Consultancy Proposal
25. ·         Carry out sales and marketing to secure project
26. 6.     Management and Administration
27.  ·         Carry out management and administration functions within division
28. ·         Carry out management and administration activities within company as directed
29. ·         Improve efficiency of Division
30. 7.     Training and Self-Development 
31. ·         Review Subordinates’ and peers’ output and provide guidance to Subordinates
32. ·         Act as mentor to Subordinates
33. ·         Conduct on-the-job training for subordinates
34. ·         Develop capabilities in specialist/niche field of consultancy services undertaken by Division
35. 8.     Others 
36. ·         Responsible for preparation of cost estimates
37. ·         Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members
38. ·         Liaise with relevant Authorities for submission and approval of all drawings and documents
39. ·         Carry out periodic site supervision as necessary to ensure works are installed in accordance with contract documentation and good engineering practice
40. ·         Manage Division’s involvement in company’s activities including corporate social responsibility activities.
41. ·         Undertake professional endorsement of drawings and documents for projects
42. ·         To carry out all tasks related to Minconsult’s operation as directed
43. Requirements
44. Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM)
45. Registered with BEM as a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate
46. Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment, out of which a minimum of 3 years is in leading a team in undertaking big projects
47. Able to lead a team to work independently for all types and sizes of projects comprising gravity sewer system, Sewerage Lifting Pumping Station, Water Pumping Station, Drainage Pumping System, and all other  infrastructure related works
48. Able to lead a team of engineers and other staff in undertaking multi-disciplinary project
49. ·         Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines.
50. Good inter-personal skills and result driven. A good team player
51. Good command of written and spoken English. Able to write and speak Bahasa Malaysia
