PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:
- Promotion of products in the field to farmers, dealers and end-users by conducting field trials and forums.
- Conducting commercial trials for new products.
- Identification of suitable trial plots to carry out field trials.
- Establishment of standard company trial protocol for various product ranges, in compliance with regulatory requirements where necessary.
- Recording and archiving of field/commercial trials results.
- Designing promotion materials including write-ups for the company’s products.
- Giving agricultural practice advice to farmers.
- Handling complaint cases together with sale team.
- To keep abreast of market trends, pricing and competition activities, feeding back regular information to Promotion and Development Manager as changes arise.
- Any other promotional and developmental work required from time to time.
- Ad-hoc work as required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the similar capacity.
- Must have knowledge of pesticides, crops and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant field experience is an added advantage
- Familiar with Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
- Fast learner and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good analytical, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Good networking and awareness of market trend.
- Result oriented and a team player.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Possess own transport (preferred 4×4 vehicle) and willing to travel.
