THE ROLE
- He/She will be reporting to the Director based in Singapore, taking prime responsibility for developing new business and generating sales to ensure agency’s growth, profitability, sustainability as well as increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
- This role is for a seasoned and qualified professional business development skills in the media industry, strategic planning, sales development for new business.
- Relevant advertising experience will be shortlisted only.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Involved to pitch new business with direct clients and account servicing with media agencies.
- Required to achieve quarterly sales target.
- Maintaining a positive and proactive working environment.
- Manage and maintain good relationship with client & media agencies.
- Manage and control sales revenue by developing strong relationships with client & agencies.
- Write and articulate in-depth, strategic, integrated marketing proposals.
- Meticulously execute and manage every communication element pertaining to advertising and marketing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social studies OR Diploma in business management.
- Must have a minimum of 4-6+ years’ sales experience with media owner or advertising agency and a thorough agency knowledge of strategy, media and creative development.
- Candidate with strong media knowledge, expert in advertising analysis.
- Candidate with strategic mindset, motivational, good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Candidate with exposure to integrated media for main stream, digital online & Out-of-Home media, regulatory requirements would be an added advantage.
- Candidate expert at developing, selling and executing integrated marketing/advertising programs for key clients.
- Candidate with extensive experience writing high-level strategic proposals, marketing communications plans and the ability to sell those plans.
- Candidate with strong, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate able to work independently in a team environment, and possessing strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Having new business skills are necessary to assist with agency growth.
- Willing to travel within Malaysia.
- Must be very visible with a professional appearance and highly respected.
- Candidate with mature thinking will be added advantage.
