Desktop Support
- Performed hardware and software inventory management to ensure accurate asset tracking.
- Support to all subsidiaries (Jebco, Jebauto, Jebplus, Jetson and GRP)
- Provided Level 1 IT support via telephone, email, and face-to-face for desktop PCs, notebooks, printers, and telecommunications.
- Conducted remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questioning.
Network Administration
- Monitored network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Support to all subsidiaries (Jebco, Jebauto, Jebplus, Jetson and GRP)
- Managed network access and usage while troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Installed and maintained network cabling for stable connectivity.
- Logged cases with vendors for Level 2 support when required.
System Administration
- Managed Microsoft 365 administration, including adding/removing users and groups.
- Administered Active Directory (AD) and Dataspace file-sharing system.
- Support to all subsidiaries (Jebco, Jebauto, Jebplus, Jetson and GRP)
- Provided Level 1 support for server and system-related issues.
- Handled basic server administration and logged cases with vendors for critical server failures requiring Level 2 support.
Server & Application Support
- Monitored and verified data backup and restore processes to ensure data integrity.
- Managed server alerts for proactive issue resolution.
- Escalated cases to external providers for complex server/application issues.
- Ensured optimal performance and efficiency of servers, applications, and other systems.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Manager with budget planning and recommendations for IT assets.
- Identified single points of failure and contributed to Disaster Recovery (DR) planning.
- Recommended improvements for systems and processes.
- Sourced and liaised with vendors for IT-related equipment, services, and application systems.
- Performed additional tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
- Maintain and monitor the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new software and hardware solutions.
- Respond to technical inquiries from users, troubleshoot problems, and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of IT systems and issues to management, including recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure that IT policies, procedures, and protocols are followed across all IT operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Provide training and support to employees on IT systems, tools, and software.
- Assist in managing IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
