The Internship Trainee – Accounts Payable will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition during the Hypercare phase of the ABBYY OCR tool implementation for Accounts Payable. This intern involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with key stakeholders, and providing hands-on support to end users to minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor ABBYY OCR tool performance to ensure accurate invoice scanning and data extraction.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to OCR accuracy, indexing errors, and system connectivity.
- Work closely with Project team and ABBYY vendor to resolve system defects, escalate critical issues, and track resolutions.
- Provide first-level support to AP processors using ABBYY, addressing queries and concerns.
- Document common issues and resolutions to develop a knowledge base for future support.
- Monitor invoice processing timelines to ensure ABBYY meets SLAs and compliance requirements.
- Validate data accuracy post-OCR processing, ensuring correct indexing and vendor coding.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in ABBYY workflows and recommend process enhancements.
- Serve as the key liaison between AP teams, IT, ABBYY vendor, and other stakeholders during Hypercare.
- Participate in daily Hypercare meetings to report progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Support communication of system updates, fixes, and best practices to AP team members.
- Track and document system performance metrics, error rates, and resolution times.
- Maintain logs of support tickets and resolutions for audit and future reference.
- Assist in preparing post-Hypercare reports, summarizing lessons learned and recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields.
