Assistant Manager, Supply Chain

  • RM 4,000 – RM 5,500 per month

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Overseeing process of Supply Chain which include planning of procurement
  • To manage the inbound shipment and outbound allocation delivery arrangement
  • Develop inventory strategies, short- & long-term supply plans and inventory management process to maximize inventory turns and meet service level targets
  • Lead in the development of order management policies, delivery planning and service excellence to all customers, audit operations regularly to ensure service standards are meeting expectation
  • Analyze space utilization against forecast demand; coordinate timely and efficient receipt of products; and monitor product life cycles
  • Generate purchase orders and monitoring stocks delivering timeline
  • Evaluate and improve the local/foreign supply chain logistics systems, procedures, and policies
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of distribution process and systems that improve service or efficiency, increase capacity, or reduce costs
  • Handling supplier delivery orders, updating goods received into the SAP system and send the invoices to finance department in a timely manner.
  • Maintain sufficient stock level for the company
  • Resolve delivery related issues with cost effective
  • Any ad-hoc task that is assigned by HOD.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of supply planning or inventory management processes
