Engineering/ Production Internship (Sabah)

To be stationed in palm oil mills in Sandakan/ Tawau/ Lahad Datu in Sabah.

Responsibilities:
- Exposure to all phases and aspects of mill operation, including mill process, cost management, worker management, administration, mill practices, and waste and effluent treatment.
- Assists Mill Managers to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies, safety procedures and SOP.
- Ensure that machines are well maintained for optimum operation of the mill processes.
- Supervise technicians to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations of parts and machines.
- Analyze and interpret data, writing of reports and documentation.
- Any other ad-hoc task as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Food Science or any relevant discipline from recognized universities with minimum current CGPA 3.0.
- Good people management, communication, and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Preferably at least 3 months of internship period.
- Interested to work in palm oil mill.
- Willing to live in plantation environment
