About the role
We are seeking a talented Logistics Assistant to join our growing team at TRIOLOGY INTEGRATED SDN. BHD. in our Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur office. This full-time role will provide critical support to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.
What you’ll be doing
• Coordinate and monitor the export of goods, liaising with supplier and freight forwarders
• Oversee the review, verification, and reconciliation of shipping documents (Packing List, Delivery Order, Invoice, bill of lading, airway bill etc for import and export shipment)
• Ensure all necessary shipping documents are available via email and in original format before the vessel departs from the exporting country.
• Liaise with customers and vendors to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise
• Coordinate container deliveries with forwarding agents and third-party warehouses.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Audit freight costs and ensure timely processing of all freight payments.
• Update shipment, freight cost from time to time.
• Reviews freight rates for airfreight, sea shipment, courier and land transportation
• To prepare/update shipping related reports.
• Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
What we’re looking for
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in a logistics or supply chain role, ideally in an administrative or coordinator capacity
- Knowledge of logistics regulations, processes, and best practices
- Prefer mandarin speaker for China Market
- Adaptable and able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
