Job Descriptions:

Responsible for preparation of full sets of accounts, including general account, account payable and anything related to closing the account in a timely manner and following company policy and statutory requirements.
Responsible for day-to-day account and manage all accounting documentation and performing filing duties for efficient safekeeping.
Responsible for performing day to day account transactions, including checking, verifying, classifying, and updating all account payables data, to ensure no discrepancy in banking.
Monitor AP ageing, perform vendor account reconciliation and payment proposal in timely manner and liaise with vendor to resolve any discrepancy.
Process monthly bank reconciliation
Effectively and efficiently liaise with auditor, company sec, Tax agent and bank officer and all other relevant parties for anything relating to accounting matters.
Controlling company cashflow and reporting in a timely manner.
Liaise with financial institution or remittance agent to procure foreign currency, hedge against foreign currency when it’s favorable.
Prepare financial & management reports for directors.
Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.

Requirements:

Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields with professional qualifications.
Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in accounting / finance field
Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Have audit working experience is an added advantage.
Proficient in SQL accounting software and Microsoft offices
Proactive, meticulous, has a good sense of responsibility, and attention to details.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and have high integrity.
Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia [mandarin spoken candidate will have an added advantage]
