RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To drive strategic leadership, and partnership and strengthen linkages with stakeholders, implement space and land monetization initiatives at the respective office, ensure efficient project delivery, ensure effective marketing efforts for SIRIM, and manage the state office to fulfill the business objective and needs.
- To establish and drive efforts to maximize business leads from engagement programs with relevant government agencies local/international business partners/organisations as needed to strengthen the relationship and to grow business that supports the business and financial goals of SIRIM including attending state meetings/events.
- To lead the state office in the proposal submission and negotiation of projects, which may involve more than one business entity in government initiatives and industry initiatives.
- To establish/initiate the gathering of market intelligence and oversee the market and business opportunity information at the state.
- To supervise overall state operational activities which include security, maintenance, asset verification, asset utilization, asset disposal and procurement activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a minimum degree in Business Administration, Management of Technology, or Economics with a minimum 12 years of working experience.
- Good analytical, result-oriented, multitasking, able to write in good English.
- Candidates with MBA qualifications have an added advantage.
- Advantage to have a marketing and management background.
