We are looking for a Software Engineer Specialist to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work with team to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects. have excellent organization and problem-solving skills also have hands-on experience in software development and agile Methodologies
Responsibilities :
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code and perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
- Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering or computer science or related discipline
- At least 3 years experience as a Software Engineer Specialist
- Extensive experience in software development, Software architecture, scripting and project management
- Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
- Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Python, C++) and the Java/J2EE platform
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) and Hadoop
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Experience in Cyber Security and Controls, IT audit, or equivalent experience
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills.The ability to translate complex ideas for non-tech staff/customers
