Key responsibilities Facility Officer:
- Directly report to the CEO’s Office, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of operational goals.
- Efficiently plan, manage, and coordinate all operational activities and asset maintenance within the central region, optimizing resource allocation and timelines.
- Conduct regular assessments of asset condition and performance on-site in the central region, implementing proactive maintenance strategies to enhance efficiency and longevity.
- Oversee the disposal activities of RAC’s assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maximizing returns on asset divestment.
- Handle public complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.
- Represent RAC in meetings, conferences, and site visits with local leaders, communities, or Local Authorities, fostering positive relationships and promoting RAC’s objectives.
Qualification:
- Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities management, maintenance management, or building operations maintenance, with a proven track record of leadership and problem-solving.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) recognized by the government from a local institution of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in local laws and regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance, certification, and licensing.
- Possess a valid driving license Class D, enabling flexibility in travel for operational requirements.
Key responsibilities Assistant Facility:
- Report directly to the Facility Officer at the Central Region Office, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Assist the Facility Officer in planning, managing, and coordinating all operational and asset maintenance activities within the central region, contributing to the smooth functioning of facilities.
- Coordinate and conduct periodic assessments of asset condition and performance on-site in the central region, providing valuable insights for maintenance planning and optimization.
- Support the Facility Officer in planning, coordinating, and managing the disposal activities of RAC’s assets, adhering to regulatory guidelines and maximizing asset value.
- Manage and address complaints received from the public in the central region promptly and effectively, upholding RAC’s commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.
- Represent RAC in meetings, conferences, and site visits with local leaders, communities, or Local Authorities, serving as a knowledgeable and professional ambassador for the organization.
Qualification:
- Possess a minimum of 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities management, maintenance management, or building operations maintenance, with practical expertise in technical aspects and project management.
- Hold a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) recognized by the government from a local institution of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in local laws and regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance, certification, and licensing.
- Possess a valid driving license Class D, facilitating travel for operational requirements.
