Senior Operation Manager – BANGSAR , KL
A Senior Operation Manager, the backbone of business operations. Manages On-The-Road execution encompassing Maintenance, Technical, Retail Operation, Distribution Center, Drivers on route and develops strategies to streamline operation processes to support Business Development. Leads a team of managers and 20 Associates, being the owner of solving complex problems and making key decisions and escalations on behalf of their team. Fosters a Culture of Safety. Responsible for protecting service levels, monitoring and improving operation and associates performance. Assembles the right team, assigns the tracking strategy, and controls the operation to ensure timely and successful fast past operation.
Strategic Management:
- Sets the standard for effective Operation management and is well versed in industry practices and technologies with a deep understanding of the business priorities and outlet needs, and can proficiently translate those needs into the right solutions.
- Brings Operations perspective to decision making with strong business acumen (understands contribution to the business and partners with finance for cost-benefit analyses). Broad experience across functional and technical areas, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining ability on increasing-scale operations.
- Responsible for protecting service levels, monitoring and improving operation and associates performance
- Responsible for streamlining operation processes to support Business Development.
- Work closely with other business units to ensure smooth outlet development including in relation to government or local authorities.
. Team Leadership:
- Leads a team of managers and 20 Associates, being the owner of solving complex problems and making key decisions and motivating a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Resource Management:
- Effectively allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with authorities regulations and company policies.
- Implement and foster a Culture of Safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Profile
- Degree in Supply Chain / Business Management with 8-10 years proven working experience with retail experience & outlets is preferable
- MUST BE ABLE SPEAK & WRITE MANDARIN
- Strength in strategic analytical, a leader with mentor and coach.
- Experience in performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
- Ability to adapt to change of environment and rapid growth workforce
- Experience in working with ERP / WMS and POS systems.
- Display a positive and proactive approach to lead change
- Proactive, detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility
- A flexible approach to working hours, including weekend working
