Overview of the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to join our finance team, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of AP transactions, payment preparation, and ensuring proper controls over recurring payments. This role requires strong analytical skills for financial analysis and expertise in bank reconciliation.
What a typical day looks like:
AP Transactions Processing:
- Accurately record and process Accounts Payable transactions in a timely manner.
- Verify invoices, match with purchase orders and receipts, and ensure proper documentation.
Payment Processing:
- Prepare and process payments for outsource services, suppliers, petty cash, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure adherence to payment terms and company policies.
Recurring Payments Control:
- Establish and maintain robust controls for recurring payments to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for process optimization.
Financial Analysis:
- Prepare financial analyses, including cost trends and variance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Executive or similar role, with a focus on Accounts Payable.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The candidate must be willing to work at our HQ located at USJ 1 , Subang Jaya.
