Finance Executive (1 year contract) – KUALA LUMPUR

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with group shared services team and finance business partners to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year end closing
- Support Group Finance in Group consolidation
- Work with other business units to ensure internal control policies and procedures are compliant with Group policies, International Financial Accounting Standards and generally accepted internal control best practices
- Ensure proper record keeping and document trails for audit purposes and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and that preparation and filing of corporate tax, GST, financial statements, annual returns, etc are timely and accurate
- Manage external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, government agencies, etc to ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify improvement areas and improve on accounting best practices
- Any ad hoc projects as necessary
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy; CPA/CA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in MNC environment
- Working knowledge in IFRS/SFRS, GST, Corporate Tax, Consolidation, Regulatory compliance
- Working knowledge in financial reporting
- Strong in communication
- Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting deadline
- Hands on experience in SAP, BW preferred
- Advanced Excel skill
