Visual Merchandiser – KUALA LUMPUR
Job Description
- Responsible for sourcing, plan and execute in-store branding and product launches’ point-of-sale and campaign planning materials (POSMs) including visuals for window, tables, wall panels and any other required merchandise display.
- Propose, plan, and perform strategize product display to attract traffic and maximize sales volume.
- Work closely with product development and merchandising team to strategize product display for existing store visual and future launching.
- Train and prepare guideline for in-store representatives to maintain consistency of product display / POSMs across all outlets.
- Ensure that all in-store display areas and merchandise are standardized, clean and tidy.
- Assist to plan store opening projects, store layout, execute tradeshows, roadshows, clearance sales and other internal and external events.
- Perform frequent store visits to monitor store visual and improvement.
- Track, monitor and manage visual merchandising stock level, props condition and expenses.
- Monitor competitors’ promotions/merchandising display to strategize effective plan for future development.
- Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communication or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in the retail industry.
- Good commercial sense with interest in visual merchandising display.
- Initiative, creative, analytical and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results
- Independent, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Poses own transportation.
- Willing to travel or outstation.
