Executive (Marketing) – Kuala Lumpur
Develop and review the marketing activities and commercial matters for PETRONAS LNG Ltd. through effective collaboration with stakeholders, including strategizing the terms and conditions of agreements to ensure the realization of maximum value through effective management of sales, delivery operations, strategic business alliances and excellent customer relations in order to achieve PETRONAS’ aspiration to become a Global LNG player.
1) LNG TRADING & MARKETING
Monitor and review structured marketing activities and strategies including business development efforts and volume disposal efforts, spot and term sales of PETRONAS LNG portfolio volumes, sourcing volumes by assembling key success factors, conducting matrix analysis and providing best recommendation to the Management.
2) CONTRACT NEGOTIATION
Consolidate engagement strategies and pricing mechanisms to ensure successful negotiation of commercial matters for existing and new contracts such as periodical price reviews, pricing proposals, contract terms and flexibility negotiation, by undertaking comprehensive analysis, evaluation and comparison with current market trends and fundamentals to manage potential market risks, maximize shareholders value, and protect PETRONAS’ and shareholder’s interests.
3) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Develop in-depth market knowledge and relevant intelligence for business development purposes by recognizing cultural peculiarity/sensitivity and leveraging on existing business relationships, monitoring external business environment, understanding competitor’s landscape, and integrating all necessary assessments/inputs to provide key recommendation to ensure an effective business development strategy and counterparty engagement approach to yield sustainable growth and profit.
4) MANAGEMENT OF CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS
Monitor and track the execution of commercial aspects of the current LNG contracts with buyers by enforcing the agreed terms and conditions as stipulated in relevant contractual documents and resolving any commercial issues/disputes including any arrangements outside LNG contracts’ provisions to minimize the financial and operational risk exposure and maximize value for PETRONAS.
