Objective and Scope

This Job Description is to define the scope of duty, responsibilities and expected knowledge of Purchasing Executive.

Function Description

  • The job description defines the minimum expectation of Group Purchasing Manager on his or her duties, responsibility and expected knowledge.
  • To assist Group Purchasing Manager analyzing overall operation activities and identifying area for continuous improvement.
  • To assist Group Purchasing Manager preparing report, maintaining records & ISO documents is up to date.
  • To oversee daily operations to ensure that policies and procedures are followed, targets are met & services are provided efficiently.
  • To develop ongoing purchasing curriculum based on trends and best practices.
  • To understand and comply with company policies and directives.
  • To ensure the purchase materials are proper evaluated & met to the company quality requirement.
  • Negotiate and evaluate for materials price, term and condition is competitive to company needs.
  • To take part in complaints, investigation and preventive action.
  • Performing other duties or project as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent with 3 years working experience in related field
  • Must be self-starter, strongly motivated, result-oriented and multi tasking.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, tight deadline, under pressure and committed.
  • Good working attitude and strong responsibility.
  • Able to lead and supervise a team.
  • Have good negotiation and communication skill.
