IT Executive – RM2500 – RM3500

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute day-to-day IT administration, development & operational support
  • Manage and administer end-to-end of systems, application and database, as per the business requirement
  • Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software and network of the organisation.
  • Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
  • Handle overall project management and project schedule.
  • Plans, organizes and controls the activities of team members. Provides guidance and training to staff providing a fully cross-trained team. Researches and evaluates alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • To provide internal support for Companies Business IT applications (ERP, POS & etc).
  • Responds to and resolves incidents and requests for assistance with end-user systems while providing a superior customer support experience
  • Determine and analyse various processes and implement changes for improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of Business Application security and governance.
  • Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate documentation and services that accords fully with established policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
  • Manage all software licenses and ensure that the company is legally protected.
  • Understand users’ requirements & workflows to implement new IT initiatives to meet growing business needs
  • Responsible for leading and strategizing digital transformation roadmap for the organisation together with the superior.
  • Follow up on key action items, progress & consolidation of reports for the superior to review.
  • Tracking project status and highlight issues to the superior.
  • Assist in churning service business data and process analysis.
  • Review existing internal business processes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate meeting and logistics arrangement, including invites to participants.
  • Handle on system enhancements, defect fixing and other projects.
  • Constantly developing requirement for system enhancements to improve reporting processes and team efficiency. This is to develop and maintain effective internal controls.
  • To assist in UAT, any project and other tasks as and when required.
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
  • Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centre.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare monthly, yearly and ad-hoc report when required.
  • Keeps the Management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • To perform and assist in other ad hoc task, duties, projects and activities as assigned by the Management.
  • Ability to work successfully under limited supervision in a diverse environment and function effectively, working both independently and as a team player

Job Requirements

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree qualification in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in Project Management and implementation etc.
  • Strong User engagement and communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to work long, hard and smart.
  • Able to execute task based on the Company’s Leedership Principles.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Driven and results oriented.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team.
  • Positive attitude, hardworking, trustworthy, matured and able to always maintain confidentiality.
