Job Description
Training & Development
- Coordinate and Plan Yearly Training
- Plan and control departmental and functional training budgets, forecast cost and
- delegate numbers
- Assess relevant training needs for staff, individual and organization, in consultation
- with department heads
- Manage Training Needs Analysis (TNA), design training courses and program to meet training needs
- Identify, select and manage external training consultants to deliver required training
- Conduct in house related training, basic safety etc.
- Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance, etc as required, prepare monthly training report
Recruitment
- Manage and review the entire recruitment exercise
- Responsible for manpower planning
- Liaise and coordinate with recruitment agencies
- Develop and update Job Description
- Implement and enforce compliance on the HR & Recruitment Policies and Procedures
- Manage, coordinate and conduct Induction Program
- Review monthly and quarterly reports
- Monitor and review recruitment master plan
- Keep track and maintain records on recruitment cost
- Involve in assessing employee job competency level for selection, placement, relocation, promotion and development purposes
- Compile the corporate structure, departmental functional charts, and position charts, reporting lines for the superior to review
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
- Maintain the positive and harmonious relations in the organization
- Responsible in all staff disciplinary matters and industrial relations matters including grievances handling, domestic inquires and disciplinary actions, etc.
- As company representative to MEF, Industrial Relations Department, Labour Office & Industrial Court
Compensation & Benefits
- Responsible in monitoring KPI, annual, periodic and ad-hoc performance appraisal exercise
- Responsible for the overall development and implementation of compensation plans
- Prepare external benchmarking, reports on data pertaining to headcounts and employee personal record
- Involve in matters pertaining to insurance, retirement, salary, quarterly bonus, yearly
- bonus and incentive bonus
- Compile and prepare of annual salary increment spreadsheet including proposal and recommendation on promotion, upgrading and merit increment
- Check and verify all staff payments and entitlement and its related claim
- Selection and review of panels Doctors. Inspect and review appointed clinics
Administration
- Responsible in the daily administration and purchasing of the company’s stationary
- including stock control
- Prepare and monitor budgets for the purchasing activities
- Oversee the maintenance of the company vehicle, renewal of road tax and motor insurance, vehicle servicing and record keeping of the vehicles’ usage
- Responsible in monitoring dispatch movement, staff hostel, staff transportation and workers welfare.
- Responsible in keeping track and update of Standard Operating Procedure.
Miscellaneous
- Responsible n monitoring and maintaining of SOP
- Safety Committee member, coordinate safety briefing internally and by Bomba and other related issue pertaining to safety
- Work permit renewal for foreign workers
- Attend to day-to-day HR issue
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing environment
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership experience
- Experience in Akta 446 and Foreign Worker welfare experience
- Experienced in SMETA Audit, ISO 9001/13485
- This position will be based in Kapar, Klang
